George's Bio on WikiTree
Well by George, George was married so many times they kept blank marriage licenses at the ready. He was born in Johnstown Pennsylvania on August 31, 1917 and passed on July 11, 1995 in Parris California.
He was 77 years old.
When Dennis was born, 1940, George was a Gas Station Attendant for the Kreiger Oil Co. He worked with his Brothers-in-law. See Photo.
He delivered milk for Adhor Farms, and one of his customers was Bing Crosby, who's wife Dixie, gave dad a Dachshund, which we named Penny. When he was driving for Yellowcab he told me he would drive
many actors around since his area was Hollywood and Beverly Hills. He said his best customer was Gary Cooper, who gave him great tips.
It was around this time that he went to watchmaker school. I remember he had a work bench in the living room where he repaired watches. He did this at night or when ever he was not driving his cab.
Mom said he would drop small pieces on the floor and she would have to find them mostly at night when it was a little too dark for him to see the pieces.
